	CONGO SQUARE'S TRIBUTE TO SHAWN LANE	Shawn Lane Memorial Concert 23 Jan 2004, Dalhousie Institute, 6.30 pm - Jonas Hellborg, V. Selvaganesh (Sweden, India) Jonas Hellborg, V. Selvaganesh , Andrea Marchesini performed with Shawn Lane at Congo Square’s inaugural concert Jazz Blues & Beyond in Kolkata at Nazrul Manch on 10th Feb 2003. Congo Square mourns with family and friends from all over the world the untimely passing away of Shawn Lane on 26 September 2003. We were truly privileged to have done the Jazz Blues & Beyond concert with him in February 2003. “There was some kind of spirit coming from him that you could feel all around you—and it was something way beyond music” – Barry Bays. Congo Square is honored that Jonas & Selva had decided to do the first concert in Shawn’s memory in Kolkata.
