Eric Löhrer Quartet - Courtesy the French Connection
Eric Löhrer
, guitarist and composer, was born in 1965. At the age of 23, he released his first album, acclaimed by the press.

He took part in many jazz projects, with Jean-Michel Pilc, Eric Lelann, Andy Emler, Eric Barret, Edouard Ferlet, Julien Lourau, ..., or in solo ("évidence", 1998, a tribute to the music of Monk). He got involved in many other musical projects like rock, songs, soul, world music, contemporary music.

The repertory of this Quartet, to a great extent, is made up of new compositions by Eric Löhrer, as well as those by members of the quartet.

Jean-Charles Richard, sax soprano, found within the Brunt'off group, the extent of its range, his technique, his energy management in particular.

Eric Surmenian, double bass, met among others in the septet of Eric Barret, for his inspiration and his commitment in music, his impeccable precision, etc, etc.

preliminaries.
